(TargetDailyNews.com) – The Supreme Court of the United States has narrowly accepted Biden’s Border Patrol’s arguments to remove razor wire fencing installed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott while further legal challenges play out in court.
Biden’s request was approved by a 5-4 vote.
The emotional appeal of the recent drownings of a mother and her two children who died in the Rio Grande while attempting illegal entry was conveniently blamed on Texas officials, including Gov. Abbott, after they denied Border Patrol access to the area known as Shelby Park in the town of Eagle Pass, Texas, where millions have been crossing illegally for years under the Biden administration’s lax border policies.
Last month, a federal appeals court told Border Patrol they could not remove razor wire while the legal proceedings played out in court. This recent ruling from SCOTUS reverses that order, as of Monday, January 22nd.
Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch all dissented and suggested they believe the emergency request by Border Patrol should have been denied.
White House spokesman Angelo Fernández Hernández speaking with CNN on Monday suggested that Biden was pleased with the outcome. He implied that Border Patrol was performing “vital federal functions” by facilitating illegal entry and ironically suggested this was somehow enforcing U.S. law. He also called the crisis an “urgent humanitarian” situation.
Andrew Mahaleris, speaking for Gov. Abbott’s office published a statement indicating the razor wire and other interventions act as “deterrence strategies” without which more invaders are encouraged to illegally cross the border. Mahaleris added that the governor’s office would continue to do its best to protect the border and secure property within the state.
In all of the federal government’s defenses and accusations, it consistently failed to acknowledge that its “law enforcement” activity is anything but, actively facilitating criminal human trafficking which has already been revealed by multiple whistleblowers from the Department of Homeland Security like Aaron Stevenson and the Department of Health and Human Services, including Tara Lee Rodas.
