(TargetDailyNews.com) – Legal activist organization Judicial Watch (JW) is exposing a scheme where top Democrats were found colluding with the FBI regarding whistleblowers from the agency who reported damning details to Congress about Biden’s Department of Justice.
President of the organization Tom Fitton said that the records prove the FBI was working with Democrats to ameliorate or mitigate the impact of whistleblower testimony. Judicial Watch used a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for records regarding FBI communications regarding the whistleblowers. The DOJ refused to supply the records, leading JW to sue.
The request was seeking all communications between FBI officials and Congressmen on the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government and all their staff from April 1st, 2023, through the present.
Prior to the establishment of the committee, the FBI pulled security clearances from three agents who eventually testified as whistleblowers, Garret O’Boyle, Steve Friend, and Marcus Allen; Allen is the only one to have his clearance restored.
The documents acquired by JW include an email from a lawyer for Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) who is on the committee, Damon Marx. Marx is writing to an unnamed official with the FBI Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA). In the email, Marx thanked the official for sending documents which he indicated were “very helpful to the Congressman.”
Goldman has been a notorious avatar for the liberal left, using his position on the committee to grandstand or attack witnesses who suggest his party is engaged in odious malfeasance. He made claims that the Republicans were engaged in “lawfare” and “election interference” which are frequent complaints by Republicans about the Democrats.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) recently responded to Goldman’s claims highlighting that she was glad he admitted lawfare was election interference, drawing parallels to the current cases against former President Donald Trump. She also compared Goldman’s complaint that Republicans were withholding aid to Ukraine during a war to the situation in Israel where President Joe Biden pulled some heavy bombs from weapons shipments.
