Email Shows U.S. Attorney Blocked Biden Probe

( – The House Ways and Means Committee revealed documents showing that U.S. Delaware attorney Lesley Wolf stopped investigators from examining evidence that Joe Biden violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) on Wednesday, September 25th.

The committee also produced evidence that Hunter Biden traveled around the world to peddle influence to the highest bidder, selling the Biden “brand” to wealthy oligarchs and representatives of foreign regimes like China and Ukraine. The emails show Hunter Biden referring to access to his father as “keys” to his family’s singular asset.

The documents came from IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler in order to support their congressional testimony in which they claim the Department of Justice slow-walked the investigation into Hunter Biden due to political pressure.

Rep. Jason Smith (R-MO) said the documents demonstrate a clear connection between Joe Biden’s behavior in office and his son’s tendency to travel around and collect millions of dollars for his family’s coffers.

He also slammed then-VP Biden for going to lunches or speaking directly to Hunter Biden’s business partners over the phone, despite repeated claims that he had nothing to do with his son’s business deals.

The news broke just days prior to the official opening of impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden in the House.

Wolf had instructed investigators to strike any references to “Political Figure 1” from their search warrant in an email she sent in August 2020. Subsequent releases indicated Joe Biden was that figure.

Another document from May 2021 demonstrates that investigators were similarly blocked from looking into campaign finance violations by Joe Biden in relation to Kevin Morris paying off Hunter Biden’s $2 million tax bill.

Officials were interested in examining the issue only to be told to back off by Wolf. She narrowed the range of their investigations limiting them to the 2014 tax year only and she didn’t want to expand the scope of the investigations to include Public Integrity as that would mitigate some of her authority. The investigators wrote that they objected to the move at the time, saying that Wolf didn’t like dissenting opinions.
